Is it worth it for a small business?
Often yes. There are subsidies for consulting around digitalization and AI, and many German states fund concrete digital projects. How much depends on the program, region and project. We give you an honest overview — no false promises.
Current programs (as of 2026)
BAFA — business consulting subsidy
Subsidizes professional consulting for small and medium businesses, including on digitalization and AI. The share of consulting costs covered varies by region. A good fit for our AI Check and AI consulting. Runs until the end of 2026 as things stand.
Regional state programs (e.g. Digitalbonus)
Many German states fund concrete digitalization projects — software, hardware, IT security or online presence — with their own grants. Names and terms vary by state. We check what's available in yours.
Mittelstand-Digital & regional initiatives
Mittelstand-Digital centres and regional initiatives offer free support and sometimes funding — good for a first overview and smaller projects.

The official, always up-to-date database of all federal, state and EU programs. You can filter by state and funding area — our starting point for any research.

Note: funding programs change constantly. The former federal programs “go-digital” and “Digital Jetzt” no longer accept new applications. We don't promise funding — the final decision always rests with the funding body. Please check current terms, ideally via the federal funding database.

Do you handle the whole funding application?
We help with research, planning and the quotes and paperwork needed. The application is submitted by the business itself (or, for subsidized consulting, the registered consultant) — we make the path there as easy as possible.
Is there funding for a new website?
Sometimes, via regional state programs (e.g. a Digitalbonus). Plain websites aren't funded everywhere; consulting and larger digital projects are more often eligible. We check your specific case.
Is AI consulting eligible for funding?
Often yes — e.g. via the BAFA business consulting subsidy. Our AI Check and AI consulting are designed exactly for that. Terms depend on region and program.
What about go-digital and Digital Jetzt?
Both federal programs no longer accept new applications. The BAFA consulting subsidy and regional state programs are the relevant ones now — we review those with you.
